Quite an interesting read for anyone interested in efforts to increase participation and enable a public sphere in developing countries.<\/p>\n<p>Considering the recent Afghan election, I think <a href=\"http:\/\/www.internews.org\/regions\/centralasia\/afghanistan.htm\">Internews activities in Afghanistan<\/a> is worthy of special a special mention. Working primarily with the medium of radio (due to a very low literacy rate), Internews is trying to increase political awareness among the citizens, as well as providing other programming.
