This censorship is an extension of that kind of idea which even most Westerners clearly understand. I haven't met anyone in the West who was proud of his female relative being a floozy. Plus, at least you got to read the articles, it's worse in many countries. On the one hand it might seem ridiculous to Westerners to censor like this but if you think about it would you like people taking revealing pictures of your sister or mother?
